Nigeria, officially Federal Republic of Nigeria, located at West Africa. It borders on the Gulf of Guinea in the south, on Benin in the west, on Niger in the northwest and north, on Chad in the northeast, and on Cameroon in the east.Abuja is the capital andLagos is the largest city of Nigeria. Nigeria is a member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). In addition to Abuja and Lagos, other major cities include Aba, Abeokuta, Ado, Benin, Enugu, Ibadan, Ife, Ilesha, Ilorin, Iwo, Kaduna, Kano, Kaiduguri,, Mushin, Ogbomosho, Onitsha, Oshogbo, Port Harcourt and Zaria.
English is the official language, but English Creole is the language most people speak. Each of the ethnic groups has its own language also.
Nigerians rise early, and therefore may eat a number of times a day. Nigerians generally like their food hot and spicy. Cooks use plenty of red hot peppers in the dishes themselves or on the side. These are eaten with rice or yams. The coastal regions drink palm wine and locally brewed beer. Muslims are great tea drinkers.
